We have been learning how to draw animals at the Fundamental Art Skills course.
For the last two weeks of the Fundamental Art Skills course my students have been learning to draw animals. It has been hard work and great fun at the same time. They have learnt how to get the right proportions and show the character of animals. The learners now understand the importance of showing the body structure under animal’s fur. They are continuing to explore various drawing medium such as graphite pencils and chalk pastels with growing confidence. My students also have studied the artists’s work which helped them to see different styles and techniques of representing animals. I am really proud of their achievement! A lot more photos of animal drawings will be displayed very soon.
