These beautiful portraits were inspired by the work of French artist Odilon Redon. My students used soft pastels skilfully to draw the portrait of the sewing Lady and they showed the delicate textures of lace and other fabrics so well. My students from the online Portrait course recently studied Pop Art, and were particularly interested in the art of Roy Lichtenstein. These are their ‘Pop Art’ portraits inspired by R.
